How Firefly Legal Can Help

For over 28 years, Firefly Legal has stood at the forefront of civil service and innovation in process serving. We’re committed to a rigorous vetting process for our employees, and ensure they remain up-to-date in industry and legal compliance training.

We’re continually expanding our nationwide process services to give civil attorneys access to the best team in legal solutions. As technology evolves, so does the innovative service we provide.

Our nationwide process servers remain leaders in industry practices and work with reliable accuracy. Your legal cases cannot begin until you have served any named defendants the pertinent documents. You need efficient and knowledgeable process services professionals to ensure these initial steps run smoothly.

What you can expect from our process services

An inept or sloppy process server can cause major setbacks to your civil case. Before you retain a legal services team, you should know what you can expect. You shouldn’t have to hand hold your process servers, and should be able to trust in their reliability.

A professional relationship with Firefly Legal means that you don’t have to worry about the correct delivery of your legal documents. We understand that the dedication you have for your clients should be reflected by our process serving team.

The Firefly Legal nationwide process services team will deliver the following:

  • Industry best practices:

The industry standards for process serving, skip tracing, filing time-sensitive documents, and more, continue to evolve. Nationwide, the laws surrounding process services continually change, and technology becomes an increasingly vital tool.

The Firefly Legal team remains committed to adhering to the highest industry best practices, and utilizing technology to ensure your document delivery is seamless.

  • Compliance:

Legal compliance is vital for nationwide process services. Our process servers undergo extensive compliance training, and will remain in compliance with local, state, and federal laws — including any recent legal changes. We understand the legal nuances that surround process services, and apply them to our work.

  • Adherence to detail:

Effective process services depend on accuracy and an adherence to detail. The lawyers we work with may have extremely specific instructions pertaining to document delivery, and we will ensure we fulfill the smallest necessary details.

Our process serving team understands that your civil cases require adherence to detail, and we will collaborate with you to ensure every detail you need is covered by our services.

  • Confidentiality and discretion:

Many civil cases involve sensitive information, and emotions can run high for all involved parties. Firefly Legal handles all of our nationwide process services with the utmost care, and we take pride in our team’s dedication to confidentiality and discretion.

We will work with you to determine the level of discretion needed for your case.

  • Efficiency:

We will create customized, detailed plans for each legal process served to ensure we efficiently locate the intended recipient of your legal documents. We’ll verify every delivery, and handle your process services with excellence and efficiency.

  • Integrity and reliability:

Firefly Legal process servers value integrity and will never cut legal corners or utilize underhanded practices for document delivery. Our commitment to excellence means that you can count on our reliability.

  • Partnerships with attorneys:

We understand how frustrating it can be to hire a new process server for every case. Our success is built on the strength of our partnerships with attorneys nationwide, and your success is our greatest priority.

Trust and reliability are vital components to our ongoing professional relationships. When you retain our process services, you can depend on industry leaders focused on providing you with innovative solutions to your legal services needs.

  • Real-time status updates:

You can access the real-time status of your process serving, and remain abreast of exact times, locations, and verifications.

  • Service audits:

Regular, internal audits allow us to grow and implement any changes needed based on industry trends. Firefly Legal process servers are committed to leadership and excellence in civil service and innovation.

  • Skip tracing services:

Unfortunately, many named parties in a civil case may attempt to elude process servers. Thus, we’ll employ the latest skip tracing methods to locate your intended recipients.

Our skip tracing processes may include Internet deep dives of confidential and public databases, professional and personal histories, and social media platforms to ensure the greatest probability of contact.

  • Technological solutions:

The modern legal industry relies on innovative solutions for efficiency. As technology rapidly evolves, it offers us tools that can promote expediency and reliable results.

Information security is especially vital to excellence in process serving, and our team takes this seriously.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, a process server can talk to your neighbors if they are trying to find you. They may ask neighbors for information about your whereabouts.

A process server can't enter your property any more than the general public can. They may walk around the property to try and find you, but they don’t have special rights to enter or trespass.

You don’t have to answer any questions a process server asks, especially about personal details. You also don’t have to let them into your home or business to give you the papers.

If a process server can’t find you, they’ll make several attempts to serve you in person. If they still can’t locate you, the court might allow alternative methods to deliver the papers, and the lawsuit could continue without your direct involvement.

Process servers use a few methods to find people who are hard to locate. They start by gathering information from their client about the person. They may also do stakeouts to watch the person's routine. In some cases, they might use disguises to get close to the individual.
